We Don't Need No Steenkin' Evidence!

Hatched by Dafydd

Has AP gone wobbly?

They appear to have inadvertently blurted out the truth... that the 110th Congress' Democratic majority wants to get rid of Attorney General Alberto Gonzales -- for no reason other than to show that they can. After the forced resignation of Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, the Democrats hunger for another scalp, by any means necessary:

It all adds up to relentless pressure on an administration that for six years of Bush's tenure operated with virtually no oversight from the Republican-controlled Congress.

No longer.

Democrats don't have - or apparently need - evidence of wrongdoing to shake Gonzales' hold on his job or challenge the White House's defense of its internal deliberations.

But the odd thing is... AP doesn't appear to see anything wrong with this.

Is it just me?

If the full question is "Is it just me, or do other people see this as wrong?" Then the answer is "No, it's not just you, the vast majority of people not dedicating their lives to the end of the Bush Presidency can see that the Democrat leadership on congress is out of control, and acting in such a way as to incur a backlash of monumental proportions.

If the full question is "Is it just me, or is anybody else suprised by this activity by the Press?" Then the answer is of course, "Yes, it's just you."

(As an aside, I'm glad you fixed the comments glitch; I couldn't post here at all last night.)

It's just you... You are confused... why?
You are used to the misrepresentations, used to the gross pandering to the liberals, socialists & islamists and used to all the baldfaced lies. You think they like lying... because they are liars. They aren't (per se).

They like their agenda... if they can get away with telling the truth they will... while it's a departure from the norm... it doesn't bother them that much.

It's whatever serves their agenda... truth or fiction, it doesn't matter. They've got the House, the Senate, the Judiciary and the Press... the only branch of government they are missing is the Executive. Low and behold... that's exactly what they are attacking.

PS. Thanks for making me get all irritatated at the R's for this 2006 election disaster again.
