That is such an unfortunate set of pictures.
Although she is now an adult in the public square, I am very uncomfortable with the tone of some of the coverage on Chelsea.

Well, damn, they are mother and daughter aren't they?

What's unfortunate about the set of pictures? That together they're hilarious???

As a child, I agree that people were unnecessarily unkind to Chelsea and I wasn't pleased by that.

This? Perfectly fine.

RattlerGator,
Yes, to the extent that Chelsea is in the public square, let's examine and deal with her policies.
But given the history, from Rush's TV show to worse, of giving her a hard time over things she has no control over, I think caution is called for.
The Clinton's are deeply injured politically. They are being backed into a corner.
We do not need some sort of excuse like picking on their only child to give them so handle to once again claim high ground.
The object of our attention is not Chelsea. From all accounts she is a bright pleasant young woman.
The point is stopping her parents.
Parents will always rally around the children.
People are sympathetic to parents protecting their children.
Let us not give them that excuse to demand sympathy.
